Public & Plants Loughborough

The first Public and Plants café transforms the ground floor of Loughborough’s Old Arts College into a place where work, food, and greenery flow together. The design takes cues from the energy of a school canteen—open, communal, and always buzzing. An open plan layout that ties the café, co-work, and plant shop into one enviroment, letting people move easily between browsing, meeting, and taking a break. The result is a warm, lived-in space that brings the historic building back to being a daily gathering point.
